Description

This beautiful unheated Australian sapphire is such a deep blue it will look nearly black in most lights. We source our Australian rough from small-scale artisanal gem miners that work the Anakie gem fields by hand for minimal environmental disruption. The gem is 100 percent natural and untreated in any way. It has slight inclusions that are just barely visible to the unaided eye. The inclusions have been factored into the price, making this a great value for the size and color.

This sapphire is faceted in our “Orion” brilliant oval design and cut to high precision; the result is a glittering beauty of a gemstone. The gem weighs 2.45 carats and measures 8.9 x 7.1 x 5.1 mm.
