What is Black Patina Silver?

Black silver is a patina that creates a dark tarnish over the surface of the silver. I use this patina for a dark dramatic look or to emphasize line engravings and patterns done into silver. It is a great option for men's jewellery as there is no need for polishing and cleaning after purchase and it gives a edgy alternative look.

Additionally, I will buff on a thin layer of conservator’s wax to add additional gloss and protection to fully black surfaces.

**This patina should avoid soap, water, and chemicals to maintain its dramatic colour.

* Sustainably sourced, recycled silver.
