Pearls
We often think of pearls as being white, but they come in a variety of colours and shapes. Pearls are also offered in a variety of price ranges. Akoya and South Sea pearls are allowed to grow longer and develop a beautiful luster and thick layer of pearl. Cultured pearls are more economical because they are grown in a shorter amount of time. Their coating is thinner and less lusterous, making them suited for studs or pendants, rather than rings (which will endure more wear).
Moonstone
Moonstone is a white translucent and opalescent semi-precious gemstone. It is known for how is catches the light and reflects a gorgeous blue sparkle. It is typically available in cabochon shapes.
Alexandrite
Alexandrite is known as one of the most alluring stones because of it's beautiful colour-changing effect. In daylight it appears teal/green and in warm light it appears purple. It is very rare in natural forms, and has now become available as a lab-grown stone because of this rarity.
