This spring I returned to Estonia for a 6 week internship with jewellery artist and professor Tanel Veenre. I helped him prepare the final pieces for his international exhibition in Schmuck 2014, Munich. (SOLOƧ: never odd or even Tanel's exhibition was a duo with a jewellery artist, Märta Mattsson, from Sweden.)
The studio that I worked in is located in the 5 storey "jewellery house" on Hobusepea in Tallinn's old town. Purpose built as a jewellery studio, the building originally housed the jewellery store, studio, and living area for the family of the jeweller. Now, it houses multiple jewellery collectives and studios of goldsmiths and jewellery artist.
