Finding the Perfect Proportion

Our process began with an initial design consultation where we explored various center stone and accent options. To help visualize the piece, I created side-by-side design mockups comparing cushion and round cuts with different stone size combinations. They ultimately fell in love with a classic 4.5mm round center stone paired with 2.5mm round side stones. For the gems, we selected DEF colorless lab-grown moissanites for their exceptional brilliance. 

Personalized Setting Details

When it came to the profile and setting, Cole loved the nature-inspired details from my "Lily" design from my sample collection. We incorporated a delicate leaf under-setting beneath the stones and finished the setting with mini leaf-style claws to frame the stones beautifully. To ensure the design would fit seamlessly into the future, I designed the profile height specifically to allow a simple, classic wedding band to stack comfortably alongside it.

Production Process 

Crafted in Platinum

For the metal, platinum was chosen. Platinum is a wonderful choice for engagement rings—its natural strength and durability ensure the ring will hold up to daily wear while maintaining its bright white finish over time without needing regular re-plating like white gold often does.

Finished Ring 

Designing a custom engagement ring is always a meaningful experience, and working with this client to craft a one-of-a-kind piece for their partner was no exception. It was an absolute pleasure bringing this design to life!
